Premium Marquee Hire in Beaudesert & Scenic Rim
Beaudesert and the Scenic Rim have become one of South East Queensland's most popular rural-wedding corridors, and we're the clearspan marquee operator most acreage hosts in this region end up calling. The area has everything a great country wedding needs — rolling cattle country, Mount Barney as a backdrop, vineyards around Kooralbyn and Canungra, and family farms from Rathdowney through Boonah to the Fassifern Valley. What it doesn't have is a bank of on-site function venues, which is exactly why marquees win here. Our clearspan 6m and 8m marquees handle the Scenic Rim terrain properly — they peg into grass, compacted dirt, and hardstand, and the engineering is rated to 80km/h winds which matters a lot when the ranges funnel storms down into the valley in late spring. No centre poles means the ceremony view to Mount Maroon or Mount Barney stays clear, and the Pro-Floor modular flooring installs over any uneven paddock so heels, dress floors and dance floors actually work. For properties with no mains power — which is most of them out past Rathdowney and Aratula — we run our own 2kVA through 60kVA generators so festoon, caterer cool-rooms, PA and coffee carts all get proper power on site. We cover the full Scenic Rim and Beaudesert shire: Boonah, Harrisville, Peak Crossing, Kalbar, Aratula, Rathdowney and the Fassifern Valley, through to Canungra, Kooralbyn and the Tamborine Mountain foothills. Jimboomba, Cedar Creek and Tamborine Village also sit on our Scenic Rim delivery run. Beaudesert itself is around 70km from our Bray Park (North Brisbane) HQ, which puts it at a standard-regional delivery rate — not metro pricing, but far from the premium our competitors charge for anything outside the Brisbane city ring. Pricing stays consistent with our metro sheet: 6m × 9m from $1,050 equipment-only ex GST (fits 45 seated, 90 cocktail), 8m × 15m from $1,900 (fits 100 seated, 200 cocktail), Pro-Floor from $15/m² installed by our crew, festoon lighting from $50/strand, round tables, chairs, bar tables, stools and dance floors all quoted on the same rate card you'd get for a Brisbane backyard. Delivery, setup and packdown are quoted as separate line items per postcode — never hidden in the equipment price, never inflated.

Beaudesert & Scenic Rim — Frequently Asked Questions
Is Beaudesert and the Scenic Rim in your service area? +
Yes. We run the full Scenic Rim from Beaudesert and Jimboomba through Boonah, Kalbar, Aratula, Rathdowney and out to Canungra and the Tamborine foothills. Approximately 70–120km from our Bray Park HQ depending on the property.
Can you set up on a working farm or cattle property? +
Yes, that's most of our Scenic Rim bookings. We need a flat enough footprint (slope under roughly 3 degrees across the marquee span), cattle moved or fenced off the site for 24–48 hours, and truck access for a 3-tonne vehicle. We always send a checklist ahead of time.
Do you supply power for off-grid properties? +
Yes. We own generators from 2kVA through 60kVA in-house. For a typical 120-guest Scenic Rim wedding with festoon, PA, caterer cool-room and coffee cart, a 10kVA generator is usually enough — we spec it against your actual power draw during the quote.
How far ahead should Scenic Rim weddings book? +
March–May and September–November are peak. For those windows, 6 months ahead is safe. For autumn harvest-vineyard weddings around Canungra and Kooralbyn, 9 months is better — those dates go early every year.
Can the marquee handle Scenic Rim storms? +
Yes — our clearspan frames are engineered to Australian Standards and rated to 80km/h winds. For severe weather warnings we have an on-call crew that can break the marquee down in under two hours. We've never had a marquee fail in 200+ events.
What about dust and paddock ground? +
Pro-Floor modular flooring over the entire footprint is the normal fix. It levels rough ground, kills the dust, and gives guests a proper surface to walk and dance on. Installed by our crew only — never supplied DIY.
