Terms & Conditions

Hire agreement terms for In-Tents Events equipment and services.

1. Booking & Deposits

A 40% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Balance is due 30 days before the event date. Bookings made within 30 days of the event require full payment at time of booking.

2. Pricing

All prices quoted are for equipment hire only and are inclusive of GST. Delivery, setup, and pack-down are quoted separately based on your event location and requirements.

3. Cancellation

Cancellations more than 30 days before the event: deposit refunded minus a $100 administration fee. Cancellations within 30 days: deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations within 7 days: full payment is non-refundable.

4. Equipment Care

The hirer is responsible for the equipment from the time of setup to the time of pack-down. Any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required will be charged at replacement or repair cost.

5. Site Requirements

The hirer must ensure the setup area is flat, clear of obstacles, and accessible by our vehicle. We require 1m clearance around the marquee perimeter. Underground services (gas, water, electrical) must be identified before setup.

6. Weather

Our marquees are engineered for winds up to 80km/h. In the event of severe weather warnings exceeding this rating, we may delay setup or recommend postponement for safety. This does not constitute cancellation by In-Tents Events.

7. Liability

In-Tents Events holds public liability insurance. We are not liable for injury, damage, or loss arising from misuse of equipment, unauthorised modifications, or events beyond our control. The hirer is responsible for obtaining any required council permits for their event.
