It depends on guest count. For 80+ guests, a marquee with flooring and lighting is often cheaper than venue hire — especially when you factor in BYO alcohol savings. For under 40 guests, a venue is usually more cost-effective.

What if it rains on my marquee event?+

Our clearspan marquees are fully waterproof with PVC roof and wall panels, rated to 80km/h winds. Your event continues in the rain. See our wet weather guide for details.

Do I need to organise toilets separately?+

If your venue doesn't have facilities, yes. We don't supply portable toilets but can recommend suppliers. Most backyard events use the house bathrooms.

Can I have a marquee in a park?+

Yes — many Brisbane parks allow marquee events with a council permit. Check with your local council for requirements. We set up in parks regularly.
